The Climate Policy Council has an office with five full-time employees to support the work of evaluating whether the government's overall policy leads to the climate goals. The office shares premises with the Swedish Research Council Formas, which is the Climate Policy Council's host authority.
Ola Alterå was appointed Head of Secretariat in October 2017. He has extensive experience in climate, energy and sustainability issues from industry, politics and government. He has previously served as Secretary of State at the Ministry of Industry and Economic Affairs.

Eva Mineur is a political scientist and comes most recently from a post as programme managet at the Expert Group for Aid Studies, EBA. Prior to that, she has worked as an evaluator and analyst at the Swedish Research Council. Eva has a PhD in political science and her thesis focused on the role of sustainability indicators as a political tool.

Stina is a biologist and comes most recently from the European Commission. At the Directorate-General for Climate Change, Stina has worked with the development of climate policy and the follow-up of Member States’ climate targets and measures for the forestry and agricultural sectors.

Panorama is an on-line platform that gathers and visualises information about Sweden’s climate transition. The platform is jointly managed by the Swedish Climate Policy Council, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Energy Agency. Anna Volckerts has an M.Sc. in international business administration plus degrees in journalism and sustainable development. She has extensive experience in the climate and sustainability field and has worked as a sustainability consultant and coordinator as well as a communicator in the private, non-profit and public sectors.

Anton Olsson is a political scientist and comes most recently from the Swedish Ministry for Climate and Enterprise. At the Government Offices, Anton has worked with developing Sweden’s Climate Policy Framework and negotiated EU-policies to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions.

Rasmus Einarsson is a researcher in sustainable food systems at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and works part time as analyst at the Swedish Climate Policy Council. His research is mainly on productivity and environmental impacts in European agriculture, with a special focus on nitrogen flows and greenhouse gas balances.

Elinor Ekman Frisk is an intern at the Swedish Climate Policy Council. She has a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and is currently studying the master’s programme in Environmental Communication and Management at SLU.
