Olof Johansson Stenman is a Professor of Economics. His current research primarily focuses on environmental economics, behavioral economics, and public economics. For example, Johansson Stenman examines deviations from the purely selfish, rational, and atomistic “Homo Economicus,” particularly in terms of policy implications, especially regarding tax system design. He is also interested in risk and uncertainty, health economics, transportation economics, inequality, welfare economics, as well as ethics and normative economics in a broad sense.

Report launch 2026 – save the date!

On 19 March, the Swedish Climate Policy Council presents its annual report at an in-person and web-broadcast seminar (in Swedish). The report contains the Council’s assessment of the Government’s overall policy with regard to the climate targets and recommendations ahead of the next electoral term.
