Council

In December 2017 eight members of the Swedish Climate Policy Council were selected by the Government, of which one chair and one vice chair person. The members shall have high scientific competence within climate, climate policy, economics and social science.

Report launch 2026 – save the date!

On 19 March, the Swedish Climate Policy Council presents its annual report at an in-person and web-broadcast seminar (in Swedish). The report contains the Council’s assessment of the Government’s overall policy with regard to the climate targets and recommendations ahead of the next electoral term.
